Music seller CD Now wanted to create its own "Amazon-like" music and entertainment shopping cart experience, My Music Boulevard.
The Communication Studio was called in to provide a lean & un-ornamented functional "wireframe model" of the customer's interactive shopping experience:
- Search for specific albums
- Select favorite albums and rate individual albums and artists
- Make recommendations and manage recommendations lists
- Share recommendations from others
- Define personal musical tastes profile
- Purchase albums
- Browse products
The model was to reflect a "thin client" HTML site in which all data is sent to the server for processing.

This "stricly functional" prototype is a wireframe model built on a Visual Basic platform. The screen interface is deliberately visually understated, using little color and no graphics or icons.
