The Frame Game
Applied Research
Martin Elton and Cal Pava
This was a follow-up to my initial proposal to the NYU Office Automation RFP. I was responding to the the comments on my initial proposal by Professors Elton and Pava. (If you haven't taken a look at the original RFP and proposal, you may want to take a look now.)
I also referenced a touchpoint that influenced me greatly: the concept of "Frame Analysis" (specifically Erving Goffmann). Context, context, context.
One of the finest aspects of the early ITP was the vigor of the collegial interaction between students and professors.
